1041. John FORTESCUE²⁹ was born on 1 December 1832 in March, Cambridge. Shown in 1851 Census for Thurning North as 18 and unmarried He died on 21 May 1894. Farmed at Great Casterton nr Stamford, but his wife died after a year, and he retired relatively young to Pinchbeck, subsequently marrying his housekeeper.
