1401. Gwendoline Mary Gertrude FORTESCUE¹⁷² was born on 4 October 1903 in Great Brickhill, Bucks. She died on 27 March 1983. No Issue. Gwen and Grace Fortescue corresponded for years. The list of Lewis and Ruth Bateman's children came from her.

Gwendoline Mary Gertrude FORTESCUE and Percy ( Perce ) ELDRED were married on 28 October 1933 in Saint Andrew and Mary, Norwich, Horsham St Faith, Norfolk. Percy ( Perce ) ELDRED¹⁷² was born on 29 July 1903 in Litchborough, Northants. He died on 19 November 1969 in Kelling Hospital, Kelling, Norfolk. He was a Railway Coach Builder, first at Wolverton Bucks, Then moved to Glasgow prior to his marriage until retirment. Retired to Sprowton, Norwich, Norfolk. he served in the Home Guard1940 to 1944.
