1807. Hugh William IRVINE-FORTESCUE²⁰⁶ was born on 14 September 1930. He died on 9 October 2002. Usually went by his middle name of William. He was educated at Glasgow Academy. He gained the rank of Lieutenant and Paymaster between 1954 and 1956 in the service of the Royal Army Pay Corps, British Army of the Rhine. He graduated from University of Glasgow, in 1961 with a B.Sc. He became a C.Eng.and a M.I.E.E.
