936. Peter Davey FOULKES⁵ was born in 1800. He died in December 1854 in Torrington, Devon. WILLIAM C WALLACE Vicar of Shebbear wrote in 1889 "Another great Vicar Peter Davey Foulkes who held the benefice for 25 years, and died in 1854. He was universally beloved and his “pious memory” survives to this day. One of his 'daughters married P A Kingdon Esq., the present Lord of the Manor."

Peter Davey FOULKES and Catherine LEMPRIERE were married about 1825 in St Helier, Jersey. Catherine LEMPRIERE⁵ was born about 1804 in Trinity, Jersey.
