1188. Harold FORTESCUE¹⁷² was born in 1881 in Little Irchester, Northants. He was baptized on 10 July 1881 in Irchester Church, Northants. From Irchester Church register Northants records office. Son of Gerrard & Mary of Irchester Lodge He died in 1949 in Manitoba, Canada. Emigrated to Canada and worked at Dodges Dairy Farm in the Rural Municipality of Springfield. met Jessie there and they rented a house on the farm. In the early 1920's they bought their own dairy farm. For many years he was on the Local School Board. He lived on the farm until he died.
