He was living in 1903 in 33 Russell Terrace, Lincoln Road, Enfield, Middlesex. Octavius appeared in the census in 1911 in 3 Belmont Cotts, Chase Side, Enfield, Edmonton, Middx. Octavius FORTESCUE and Daisy Amelia GATES were married on 8 April 1901 in Irchester, Northants. Daisy Amelia GATES was born on 4 February 1879 in Ashley Lane, Lymington, Hants. She died on 17 April 1973 in Wadebridge, Bodmin, Cornwall. Described in death certificate as "Widow of Octavius FORTESCUE, Coach Builder, 6 Middle Street,Pastow." Death registered by "Dennis Walker GODFREY, Grandson-in-law in attendance, of 40 Culver Road, Saltash." Shown in 1901 Census (31 March) staying with Thomas Saxby and Mary Jane (nee Fortescue) a week before her marriage to Octavius Fortescue on 8 April 1901.
