Present at death Florence Collins - Cousin. Married Percy Reginald Thackray in Huntingdon and emigrated to Canada. Kate and Percy split up, and Kate, with daughter Joan, returned to the UK, where she was housekeeper to her cousin at Little Irchester Farm after his wife died. She died there. Have copies of letters to Hugh in 1923 and 1924 which we sent to Joan Sigsworth in February 1999. It showed that she was homesick. Her husband had suffered shell shock in WW1. Kathleen Mary (Kit) FORTESCUE and Percy Reginald THACKRAY were married in June 1901 in Woolley, Hunts. Percy Reginald THACKRAY was born on 30 March 1881 in Huntingdon, Hunts. He emigrated in 1906 from Montreal Canada. He died in 1956. Suffered shell Shock in WWI. Left his wife Kit and Joan whilst she was visiting England.
