40. Richard FORTESCUE of Hollacombe¹⁵ died on 27 February 1480. Richard succeeded to some Devon property from his father. He married Alice (Agnes in Clermont's text and in Visitations of Cornwall) in about 1453. Visitations gives it as Hollacombe instead of Holcombe in Clermont and a alternaive spelling for Hollacombe is Hallacombe
