644. Matthew FORTESCUE of Stephenstown⁹¹ was born in 1755. He died on 10 November 1802.⁹² Mathew hunted at Abington Abbey home of his friend John Harvey Thursby. John's son another John Harvey married Emily, Matthew's daughter.

Matthew FORTESCUE of Stephenstown and Mary Anne MCCLINTOCK of Drumcar were married on 1 January 1787.⁹² Mary Anne MCCLINTOCK of Drumcar^32,66,91 was born on 17 May 1767.⁹² She died on 14 October 1849. She wrote a diary which is reproduced in part in "Knockbridge Miscellany"
